“The Whitehouse Gallery is a contemporary art & craft gallery based in the historic artist town of Kirkcudbright, South West Scotland.

Opened in 2004, The Whitehouse Gallery has firmly established itself as a leading art gallery in the region, with a nationwide reputation for exhibiting top quality Fine Art and Craft from Scotland and the UK.

The gallery is over two levels. There is a light and airy space downstairs which has a more contemporary ‘gallery’ feel, leading upstairs to a more homely environment spread across three separate rooms.

The gallery prides itself on being a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and we encourage everyone to come in and have a look. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome.

The Whitehouse Gallery has between 5-6 mixed exhibitions over the year, combining up-and-coming talents with some of the leading artists and makers in the country.”
