“Everyone loves a good character! They make up the backbone of our creative and social history,

whether it be the now controversial Punch and Judy, the latest children’s animation series or that

bloke down the pub who always has a good tale to tell! Full of Character is a term used when

people want to emphasise that someone, or something, has a strong personality or personality

trait. We wanted to create an exhibition that explores UK artists’ interpretation of the word ‘character’ in all its wonderful guises.

Full of Character brings together wall art, print, sculpture, homewares and jewellery in a

colourful celebration of the eccentric, the bonkers, the cute and maybe even the slightly sinister.

We invite you to join us for a showcase that explores the best bits of UK humour, the

whimsy and society.”
